Starbrew Games will bring its open-world cozy adventure Duck Side of the Moon to PlayStation 5 on 17 November 2026. The console release will arrive alongside Homegrown, a substantial content update that adds new features to the space-set game.

Duck Side of the Moon first launched on PC in May 2026. The title follows a laid-back exploration format in which players can travel through a cozy science-fiction environment, gather resources and search for secrets. It also includes spaceship customization, allowing players to arrange furniture and decorations inside their vessel.

Homegrown adds farming features and a new area

The Homegrown update is the main addition accompanying the PS5 version. Its features include an entirely new area, a fresh storyline and the ability to grow and harvest plants. These additions will be available on the PlayStation 5 version from launch day rather than being introduced at a later date.

  • New area: Homegrown adds another location to explore.
  • Fresh storyline: The update expands the game’s narrative content.
  • Plant growing and harvesting: Players can cultivate and collect plants as part of the new content.
  • Customization: The game allows furniture and decorations to be placed in the spaceship.

GameRant describes the game as an open-world, single-player experience. Co-op is not supported, so the PS5 release is designed for solo play. The title has also received more than 95% positive user reviews on Steam, according to the outlet.

PS5 price has not been announced

Players can already add Duck Side of the Moon to their wishlists through the PlayStation Store. However, Starbrew Games has not revealed the PS5 price. The game’s current Steam price is mentioned as a point of comparison, but that figure does not establish the official PlayStation price.

The PlayStation Store listing confirms that the game can be wishlisted ahead of release, but the reported announcement does not identify a Philippine price or provide a separate Southeast Asian release schedule. For players in the Philippines, the confirmed information is therefore limited to the 17 November PS5 launch date and the Homegrown content arriving with it.

The PC version remains the game’s earlier release platform, while the PS5 edition will give console players access to the expanded package from its first day. No additional platforms or regional availability details were identified in the announcement.
