Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 brought 219,546 attendees from 113 countries to Bangkok from 29 October to 1 November 2026, according to the event organizers. The four-day show was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and occupied 38,519 square meters of event space.
The event’s business area hosted 6,923 visitors from 78 countries during its first two days. That represented a 24% increase from the 5,590 business visitors recorded in 2025, with more than half of this year’s business-area attendees coming from outside Thailand.
A larger regional business program
For the Southeast Asian games industry, the business figures point to a show that is being used for more than public demonstrations. Organizers said exhibitors from 29 countries and regions attended, supported by 20 national pavilions and industry delegations. In total, the event featured 335 exhibitors and pavilions, up from 294 in 2025, and 64% represented countries outside Thailand.
| Event figure | 2026 result |
|---|---|
| Total attendees | 219,546 from 113 countries |
| Business-area visitors | 6,923 from 78 countries |
| Exhibitors and pavilions | 335 from 29 countries and regions |
| Conference speakers | 81 from 27 countries |
The conference program included 81 speakers from 27 countries across four stages. id Software co-founder John Romero headlined the conference, while the Xsolla-sponsored Invest Circle and VIP XPerience connected 509 developers, publishers and investors. That figure was higher than the 418 participants recorded for the same program in the previous year.
“This was the most international show we have staged. Exhibitors from 29 countries and regions came to Bangkok to sign deals, not only to show games. That tells the global industry that Southeast Asia is no longer a market to watch. It is a market to be in, and this is where deals get done.”

Public attendees could access 582 game titles across the business and entertainment areas, including 347 games from independent developers. The exhibition also included major international companies and smaller studios, giving visitors a view of both established releases and projects seeking attention in the region.
Reach beyond the convention center
The show’s digital presence added nearly 34 million views across livestreams and other online content. Organizers also counted 720 media partners, influencers and press representatives, extending the event’s reach beyond visitors who attended in Bangkok.
Daria La Velle, the show’s project director, said the organizers’ long-term aim is to cover Asia, while the current focus remains Southeast Asia’s games industry and its fans. That positioning gives the event particular relevance for developers, publishers and players in the Philippines, even though the attendance figures published for this edition do not identify participation by individual Southeast Asian countries.
