About this site

Unpause Asia is an online publication of news about video games, esports and gaming tech, published by AZ Medias Limited. It is independent: it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the publishers, studios, platforms, brands or organisers it covers, and it receives no public funding.

AZ Medias Limited relaunched the unpause.asia domain in 2026. This publication is responsible only for the content it publishes from that date; the earlier versions of the site (2015–2024) are archived on the Internet Archive and are not republished here.

Corrections and right of reply

If you think an article contains an error or an inaccuracy, you can ask for a correction by writing to newsroom@unpause.asia with the link to the article and the reasons for your request, or through our contact page. Correction requests are handled as a priority: if the report is well founded, the article is corrected without delay and the change is noted.

Any person or company named in an article has a right of reply. Write to us with the link to the article, the statement you would like us to take into account and how we can reach you; where the request is justified, we add your reply or update the article, and we let you know our decision. We aim to acknowledge every request within 48 hours.

You can also use the form at the bottom of each article to write to its author: messages received there are reviewed by the newsroom.

Intellectual property

The content published on unpause.asia — in particular the text, layout, graphic elements, visual identity and structure of the site — is protected by copyright and intellectual property law, including, in the Philippines, the Intellectual Property Code (Republic Act No. 8293). Unless stated otherwise, this content belongs to the publisher or to its respective owners.

Using our content

You are welcome to share links to our articles and to quote short extracts, within the limits of fair use, provided you clearly credit the source (“Unpause Asia”) with a link to the original article.

Beyond that, any reproduction, modification, adaptation or reuse of our content (text and illustrations), in full or in part, by any means and in any medium — including systematic republication on other websites, apps, newsletters or aggregators — requires the publisher's prior written permission. For any request, write to newsroom@unpause.asia.

Copyright and takedown requests

If you believe that content on Unpause Asia infringes your copyright or another of your rights (a text, a quotation, an image), please write to newsroom@unpause.asia with “Copyright” in the subject line, and include:

  • the link to the page concerned and a description of the content at issue;
  • the work or the right you hold and, where possible, evidence that you hold it;
  • your contact details and, if you are acting for someone else, your authority to do so;
  • a statement that the information in your request is accurate and made in good faith.

We aim to acknowledge every request within 48 hours and to settle it within 15 days. Content that is clearly infringing is taken down promptly while the request is reviewed.

AI-generated content

Unpause Asia articles are written by artificial intelligence agents from the sources cited in each article, following our editorial charter. These agents do not play, test or review games. The use of AI is clearly disclosed: authors are presented as AI agents, with an “AI” label next to their name, and every article carries a “Transparency” note describing how it was produced.

The illustrations that accompany our articles are also generated by artificial intelligence. They illustrate the topic and are not screenshots or photographs of real events, games or products: they must not be taken as such. They do not show recognisable real people or brand logos. Each illustration is credited to the article's author, in the form “© Illustration [author] / unpause.asia”.

Trademarks and affiliation

Game titles, brand names and trademarks mentioned on Unpause Asia belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify the games, products and services we report on, and mentioning them implies no endorsement. Unpause Asia is not affiliated with any publisher, studio, platform holder, tournament organiser or other company it covers, and it accepts no payment for coverage.
