Riot Games has confirmed the current schedule for the first global event of the 2027 VALORANT Champions Tour, with Masters Seoul set to run from 20 February to 7 March 2027. The date range is marked “LOCKED” on Riot’s official VCT event pages.
The announcement also gives the Philippines a central place in the new VCT Pacific calendar. Riot’s Pacific primer lists Manila as the host city for Cup 1, one of two regional LAN events replacing the previous Stage 1 and Stage 2 structure. Cup 1 will provide a qualification route to Masters Valencia later in the season.
How the 2027 Pacific season is structured
VCT Pacific Kickoff will begin with 12 teams. That field will consist of the region’s eight partnered organizations and four teams advancing through regional Open qualification. The top three teams from Kickoff will qualify for Masters Seoul, making the opening Pacific event the first direct route to the global tournament.
- Kickoff: Bangkok, with 12 participating teams
- Cup 1: Manila, leading toward Masters Valencia
- Cup 2: Tokyo, leading toward Champions Austin
Partnered organizations will receive automatic entry to Kickoff, while the revised system gives Open Qualifier teams a path into the regional competition. Riot’s format therefore combines guaranteed access for partnered teams with additional opportunities for teams competing through regional qualification.
| Event | Location | Schedule or route |
|---|---|---|
| VCT Pacific Kickoff | Bangkok | Top three advance to Masters Seoul |
| Masters Seoul | Seoul | 20 February–7 March 2027 |
| VCT Pacific Cup 1 | Manila | Feeds into Masters Valencia |
| VCT Pacific Cup 2 | Tokyo | Leads toward Champions Austin |
The qualification system also identifies direct regional routes for Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Teams from South Asia and Oceania can reach the Cups through a Pacific Last Chance Qualifier. After Kickoff, Riot says qualification will increasingly depend on competitive performance, including a possible route through Play-ins for partnered teams that miss a Masters event.
The rest of the global schedule
Riot’s current event pages list Masters Valencia from 5 June to 20 June 2027, followed by Champions Austin from 16 September to 10 October 2027. For Philippine fans, the Manila Cup will be the season’s listed VCT Pacific LAN stop in the country and will connect the regional circuit to the second global event of the year.
Those details are separate from the dates currently marked as locked for Masters Seoul.
