Activision will launch Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone at 1:00 pm PHT on 6 November 2026. The timing converts the announced midnight ET and 9:00 pm PT release window for players in the Philippines. The update is scheduled to arrive on every platform, according to a 28 October roadmap post from Call of Duty Staff.

X01 becomes the center of the DMZ update

The main addition is X01, a DMZ location built around a former Russian facility on the edge of Hajin. The site is now occupied by North Korean forces and is linked by current intelligence to GRANIT Arms, which allegedly used it as a black site. Squads will move through vehicle depots and cargo areas before reaching production lines, underground laboratories and a sealed Deep Vault.

“a dimly lit, labyrinthian network of passageways, tunnels, and linking chambers”

Ghost will serve as X01’s Watcher and guide players through new DMZ Orders as different sections become available. The location has multiple floors connected by vertical routes. Call of Duty Staff said intelligence identifies 100 Spirits NK Faction soldiers and specialists in the area, while more dangerous enemies are positioned deeper inside the facility.

Extraction will also be more demanding. As squads progress, the facility begins closing extraction points, requiring players to complete designated steps before they can leave. That structure makes the new location more than a straightforward search for equipment: teams will have to manage the changing escape routes while continuing through the complex.

New bosses, rewards and seasonal events

The Forward Operating Base is receiving a station beside the Survival Kit Station. It will house the Season 1 Battle Pass, BlackCell content and store bundles. BlackCell owners can also use DMZ Cash at the Vendor to obtain additional weapons and gear.

The Boss Board is expanding with Tae-Hyun, known as “Knuckle,” and Chol-Min, known as “The Wrench.” The season also adds commanders including the Juggernaut called The Captain, who is supported by an elite guard, and a self-driving Wheelson that patrols X01.

  • Threat Briefing: Battle Tank asks players to remove one component from a North Korean main battle tank during each deployment in Hajin.
  • A second briefing sends squads into X01 to collect helmet sections from The Captain before extraction.
  • Resupply Run requires players to find specified items across points of interest and exchange them for Self Revives, 3-Plate Carriers and other high-value gear.

Multiplayer content is also planned

Beyond DMZ, Season 1 will add three multiplayer maps to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The roadmap excerpt also identifies new seasonal content for Call of Duty: Warzone, placing the update across both games rather than limiting the launch to the extraction mode.

For players in the Philippines, the announced schedule places the season’s opening at 1:00 pm on Friday, 6 November. Activision’s roadmap sets the same launch window for every platform, while the published announcement provides no separate Philippine pricing or regional rollout details.
