In the idyllic world of Eloria, Blue Oak Bridge invites players to cultivate a flourishing farm brimming with both the fantastical and the familiar. Beyond the bountiful harvests, Eloria fosters a sense of community. Players can forge relationships with over 30 unique villagers, each with their own captivating narratives. A deeper mystery lies hidden beneath the surface, with the once-grand Blue Oak Library whispering secrets of a forgotten magic. With its emphasis on exploration, community, and a rewarding farming experience, Blue Oak Bridge provides a charming haven for those seeking a heartwarming adventure.

In Blue Oak Bridge you’ll be spending most of your time farming but remember to take some time off to explore this wonderful world. Travel up the mountains, wander into the coves and take a dip in the ocean. All these wonderful places are rich in beauty and teaming with animal life, including fish! There are over 50 different types of fish for you to catch in Blue Oak Bridge and in this guide, we’ll show you where and how to catch them all.

Fishing Basics

To get started fishing in Blue Oak Bridge, just head on over to the pier at the beach and meet Kipp. Kipp is the island’s president fisherman who runs the Tackle Shop. He’ll teach you the basics of fishing and give you your first ‘Rusty Fishing Rod’. To begin fishing simply:

  1. Equip your fishing rod and use the action button to cast it into a body of water
  2. Look for the shadows of fish in the water so you can toss your line nearby them
  3. When an exclamation “!” mark appears over your head you’ll enter a mini-game
  4. When the fish is within the moving circle hit the action button to catch it

There are a number of different places around Eloria that you can go fishing in. And you’ll find different types of fish in different locations, seasons and even times of day. Most of the rarer fish will require you to upgrade your rod, which you can do at Kipp’s Tackle Store.
