Palworld – Everything You Need To Know About Flying

Palworld is a bright and vibrant open world full of monsters, Pals and lots of places to see and explore. In the beginning, you’re going to have to hoof it on foot until you get access to some friendly Pal Mounts. There are ground Pal mounts and of course flying mounts. All ridable Flying Mounts in Palworld are as you might suspect going to be large. You’ll need to track them down in the wild and successfully capture them first before you can ride them. So only expect to fly about midgame into your Palworld journey.

There’s no better way than to explore than on the back of a flying friend. In this guide, we’ll go through where to get a Flying Mount, the best ones out there and how to ride them.

How To Unlock Flying Mounts

As we mentioned earlier, all the Flying Mounts in Palworld are large bois and to ride them you’re going to need to craft a Saddle. Once you catch your first potential Flying Mount, you’ll unlock the Saddle for that specific Pal in the Technology Tree. Unlock the Saddle with Technology Points, then build it at the Pal Gear Workbench. This should add the Saddle to your Key Items.

Then all you have to do is summon your Flying Pal and you’ll be able to use their Special Ability to fly around the world! Just take note that Flying is going to use up Stamina so make sure to land for a bit and take an occasional break to recharge. This doesn’t mean that you have to dismount completely, you can still ride it around at ground level without using up Stamina.
