Fallout TV Series – Everything You Need To Know

There is no better RPG series than Fallout for any gamer. Its iconic post-apocalyptic aesthetic is instantly recognisable. Thanks in large part due to its alternate reality setting where the world has embraced nuclear energy after WW2. Imagine a planet where technology has mostly been stuck in the 1950s. Sarcastic robots and mutant creatures roam about and most of humanity that survived are now in a feral state. That is except for the humans that have managed to survive the nuclear fallout in the Vaults.

This amazing world is being reimagined into a live-action TV series by Amazon. We wrote about the series way back in 2022, but now we have even more updates and an actual release date. In this article, we’ll go through when the TV series takes place, some early released images, who is starring in the show and more. The Fallout TV series will premiere on April 12th 2024 on Amazon Prime.

Fallout TV Series Plotline

For those of you who haven’t played any of the Fallout games, the short version of the story is that a global nuclear war hit the planet sometime in the late 2000s. Most of humanity knew this was coming and therefore a company known as Vault-Tec created Vaults deep underground where humanity may be able to survive the war. In each Fallout game, our Vault Dweller awakens at a different point in time after the War.

This time our Vault Dweller, who goes by the name of Lucy from Vault 33 resurfaces 219 years after the war. She has lived her entire life in a vault deep underground. But a crisis forces her to go up to the surface. There she sees the after-effects of Nuclear War. The Earth is filled with nightmarish mutant creatures, massive insects, and nasty human survivors.

Lucy and some other survivors will have to scavenge and scrap from whatever has been left after the apocalypse. There she encounters the Brotherhood od Steel as well as other gangs and members of the Fallout universe. We also know that the TV series will reveal the origin story behind Vault Boy. The smiling Vault-Tec mascot that has appeared in every Fallout game.
