Apeiron is the world’s first NFT god game x roguelite. Players will take on the role of godlings – newborn gods – and explore the godiverse while piloting their divine Avatar, which will draw its power from the elemental archetypes of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.
The season 2 demo launched this summer with a host of new content and is now available for download on the Epic Store. The following guide will introduce you to one of the currently playable 3 Avatar classes and how to get the most out of them. They’re The Fury, The Fate and The Wisdom. In this guide, we’ll go through everything you need to know and how to play Tempest Avatar – The Wisdom.
The Tempest Wisdom is a skill-testing glass cannon. On the one hand, she has some of the most powerful skills in the game, dealing massive AoE damage. On the other hand, she’s on the slower side, and her skills take time to cast. Use your Apostles to protect her and find your moment to slam down your skills!
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths | Weaknesses |
---|---|
Deals huge AoE damage from long range | Low HP stat and movement speed, needs protection. |
One of the best Core Skills in Zip Zap Orbs | Relatively long casting time, easily interrupted by enemies stuns |
Adjustments of positions and angles during spell-casting are required |
Levelling
Note: You can redistribute your skill points at any time (it’s free!).

- Gustwing Unbound (4/5) – Bursts of damage
Skill point distribution for boss fights (Lv. 30):
- Call the Endstorm (5/5) – AoE damage and shielding
- Zip Zap Orbs (5/5) – OP weapon
- Gustwing Unbound (4/5) – Bursts of damage
Skills
Skill | Level | Description | Strengths | Weaknesses |
---|---|---|---|---|
Zip Zap Orbs | Lvl. 1 | “Circling damage orbs which: slow enemies, stun if hit 3 times fast.” | + Available from the start of the game. + Stuns enemies, allowing time for spell-casting. + Protects the Wisdom when she goes deep into enemy lines. + Decent amount of damage throughout the game. | – Harder to use during boss fights. |
Electrostatic Ray | Lvl. 10 | “Channels an electric ray, knocking back enemies, dealing damage, causing expanding shockwaves that root.” | + Deals huge damage + Long attack range + Combine the skill with dashes to target your biggest threat. | – Can be blocked by enemies getting in the way. – Targets one single point, non-AoE damage. |
Call the Endstorm | Lvl. 20 | “BIG damage after delay, allies shielded and buffed. Direct hits = double damage and stun.” | + Very powerful AoE damage. + Long casting range. Stunning and shielding are useful when Rogue boods attack your allies. + Dash into the storm to get a thicc shield. | – Long casting time, easily interrupted by enemies. Cast the skill in a safe position. – High mana cost requires mana Artifacts to use consistently. |
Gustwing Unbound | Lvl. 20 | “7 Blades damage and mark, then return for damage, you move faster and healed. Enemies marked take BIG damage.” | + Deals the greatest AoE damage. + Combine with dashes to set up juicy return damage with clever angling. | – Difficult to optimize; skill testing. – Enemies can escape from the return damage. However, AI is too stupid to dodge. – High mana cost requires mana Artifacts to use consistently. |
Apostles / Team Comps

Deck 1: Normal/Elite Battles – The Full Wombo
Mage | Fall Up | Knocks up enemies, then pulls them back down, dealing AoE damage. |
Mage | Big Ol’ Meteor Storm | Calls down meteor storm dealing AoE damage. |
Guardian | Prickly Personality | Slows itself, gaining DEF and RES. Enemies take damage when attacking. |
Priest | Guilty Conscience | Makes the enemy guilty – they take bonus damage when hit. |
You need at least one Guardian and one Priest for this combo. Use a Priest to lower enemy res and two Mages to set up the ultimate AoE wombo-combo: Fall Up keeps ‘em locked in place, then we use Big Ol’ Meteor Storm and one of the Wisdom’s many AoE skills to knock ‘em down. Explosive!
Deck 2: Boss Battles – The Classic
Warrior | Hangry Yell | Taunts enemies and gains a shield. |
Priest | Aura of Awesomeness | Target allied Apostle gets an energy-generating aura and heals nearby allies instantly. |
Hunter | Headshot | Charges up then shoots arrow, infinite range and piercing, deals damage. |
Hunter | Headshot | Charges up then shoots arrow, infinite range and piercing, deals damage. |
This is a classic comp: tank, healer, and two DPS. Honestly, you could use this comp for anything, but it particularly shines against bosses, where the Hunters’ superior single-target DPS comes into play. We’re running Warrior over Guardian in this instance for the taunt from Hangry Yell, but you could also use a Guardian with a taunt in a pinch.
PvP Deck – Starfall Shower
Warrior | Last Dood Standing | Attacks now cleave and stun. If the target is slowed or stunned, double damage. If hits Avatar, more damage. |
Warrior | Last Dood Standing | Attacks now cleave and stun. If the target is slowed or stunned, double damage. If hits Avatar, more damage. |
Priest | Guilty Conscience | Makes enemy Guilty – they take bonus damage when hit. |
Mage | Starfall Gambit | After playing a card, a star falls at a random enemy, dealing damage. More damage to Avatars. |
The centrepiece of this deck is the Starfall Gambit. Trusting our Warriors to hold down the fort, we take advantage of low-costing skill cards such as Last Dood Standing and Guilty Conscience to do rapid spell-casting and summon a huge starfall shower onto the enemies.
Alternative PvP – All AoE All the Time
Guardian | Castle Guard | Moves to location, roots itself, shields, and taunts. Stunned if the shield is broken. |
Guardian | Leaping Shield Bonk | Leaps to location, deals damage, and stuns. |
Warrior | Warhammer Smash | Shockwave that damages, slows far enemies, stuns and knockback close enemies. |
Mage | Fall Up | Knocks up enemies, then pulls them back down, dealing AoE damage. |
This is the ultimate AoE CC team, which gives advantages to the AoE spell-casting ability of the Wisdom. The Guardians and Warrior are sturdy enough to tank for the Wisdom and the Mage, while Castle Guard locks enemies in place and lets our Warrior follow-up with Warhammer Smash. Spam your CC skills once enemies are in a clump, and activate AoE damage skills to create explosive damage to multiple enemies.
Artifacts

Artifact | Description | |
---|---|---|
Flysilk Robes of Worship IV (Good) | Avatar Dash Recovery Time -80% | Very common Artifact, easy to obtain. Dashes are important to the Wisdom as she needs to position herself while casting spells, and she also has slow movement speed. |
Apropos’ Recon Drone | All 3 Avatar Skills start at hand | The Wisdom relies heavily on her skill cards to deal huge AoE damage. We want to start with them! |
Event Horizon Escutcheon IV (Evil) | At the start of the battle, your units gain a damage immunity shield for 26 hits. The shield will break if the total damage is over 8000. | Compensates the low HP stat of Wisdom and provides an extra layer of protection. |
Invocation of Infinity | Your maximum mana +20 | Very powerful for a mana-intensive skill build, which we are with potentially two 5 cost skills in our deck. |
Scales of Mundi IV (Good Attribution) | Your Units +27% Critical Chance. Your Units +12% Critical Damage. | Very powerful for a mana-intensive skill build, which we are with potentially two 5-cost skills in our deck. |
Axis Blade IV (Evil Attribution) | Your Units +3% ATK & INT | Just straight up damage. An acceptable, if unexciting, replacement. |
Syn’s Winged Boots III (Evil Attribution) | Avatar Dash Distance +1.5. Avatar Dash Recovery Time -25%. | Compensates the low movement speed of the Wisdom, while increased dash distance allows her skills to reach more enemies. |
