Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is the remake of the much beloved Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life title. It’s one of the OG farming and life-sim, before Stardew Valley. Much like the first game you begin a new life in the Forgotten Valley, a tranquil place where you can run your father’s farm. Hopefully, this leads to you living A Wonderful Life, growing crops, raising animals and hopefully falling in love and raising a child together.
The remake of the game will still have the same classic features but it’s spiced up with new events, festivals, recipes, crops and so much more. There are even two new love interests for your character to fall in love with, as well as the original bachelor and bachelorettes that will return from the original game.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Bachelors
There are four different eligible bachelors for you to romance and eventually marry.
Gustafa

Gustafa is a free-spirited musician who loves nature. He can often be found playing his guitar in the field behind the Inn or at the pond in the forest. Despite his laid-back demeanour, Gustafa takes his music very seriously and has a deep appreciation for different cultures and their music. He has a collection of exotic instruments within his home. Gustafa is also a bit of a romantic, often writing love songs about the people he meets on his travels.
After marriage, Gustafa will still visit his yurt. He’ll play his guitar outside his house, behind the inn, and in the forest just like he did before marriage.

Rock is a carefree fellow who somehow manages to avoid hard work and responsibilities. He doesn’t want to be tied down like an adult, as he prefers spending his days laying about and watching the clouds. Rock feels that menial everyday work is beneath him; he’s so awesome that he needs to reserve his energy for some other task.
His current responsibility is to watch over his parents, Lou and Tei, ensuring that they don’t have any problems with managing the Lei-Over Inn. Though if there was an issue, Rock would most likely delegate the problem to someone else to deal with.

Matthew was previously known as Marlin in the original A Wonderful Life. He is a reserved but hardworking fellow who lives with his sister Vesta on her farm in Forgotten Valley. He has a stern tone and can sometimes come across as unfriendly, but that’s not entirely the case.
Matthew pushes people away due to his low self-esteem and frustration relating to his health. He used to live in the city, but the lifestyle there was detrimental to his well-being. Eventually, he moved from city life to a quieter and calmer environment at his big sister’s vegetable farm. While the slower pace is refreshing, his physical condition has been slow to recover. This ongoing annoyance with his situation tends to make Matthew unsociable.

Gordy is a heavy thinker who always observes the world around him, looking for that one spark of inspiration to guide him toward creating his next metal masterpiece. An industrial artist by trade, Gordy is difficult to understand. He keeps to himself and is always quietly contemplating something; arms cross in front of him while staring at the ground. Once he gets a great idea, Gordy returns to his studio in the southwest corner of Forgotten Valley, moulding metal into strange sculptures with his bare hands.
In the original Gamecube game, Gordy was not a marriage candidate. Cody (as he was known then) was a creative metal artist, just like he is in this remake.
