The response to Overwatch 2 is still a little uneven and with them cancelling a lot of the PvE and story mode that was promised the community is less than happy about it. But there are still those that play the game more casually and for them upcoming Season is something fun to look forward to.
Season 5 will run from June 13th 2023 to August 16th 2023 (approximate). And will feature a few new event gameplay modes – Questwatch, Overwatch’s Summer Games and Mischief and Magic.
Overwatch 2’s Season 5 theme is fantasy tabletop RPG, think Dungeons and Dragons and mythical fantasy such a Griffons, Elves, Demons and more. And just like with every season Overwatch 2 has a special Mythic Skin as part of its paid Battle Pass. This season’s recipient of the skin is our time traveling Adventurer Tracer. Just a note that, unlike previous seasons where the Mythic Skin is unlocked at Battle Pass Lvl 80, you’ll now begin to unlock the various customisations for it at levels 45, 65 and 80.
