Genshin Impact’s introduction of new characters is always changing the meta of the game. As of the time of writing the Electro element is currently the most powerful. It’s a great element and if you combine two Electro characters in a single team, you’ll get the High Voltage Elemental Resonance. Add in that Hydro and forget about it.
Right now there are a total of 12 different Electro characters in Genshin Impact and these are the best ones to have in your team.
Raiden Shogun
Role: Main DPS
Weapon: Polearm
Right up on the tier list has to be the Archon herself – Raiden Shogun. It comes as no surprise that she tops the list and she’ll work well by amping up herself with your team. Her Energy Recharge works really well both for herself and her teammates, and she can also improve the Elemental Burst damage of her entire team (although it may not be great for some characters).
Raiden is the most well-rounded Electro character in Genshin Impact, as both her active and passive Electro skills deal damage very effectively. As your other characters cast their bursts, they’ll add Resolve stacks to Raiden’s Eye of Stormy Judgement, and when she uses her burst and enters her Musou Isshin state, she’ll gain increased Electro damage based on those stacks.
As she hits opponents, she’ll also recharge your other party members’ bursts, creating a powerful cycle. When you take into account the fact that her damage scales with energy recharge, she’s a strong support/DPS character all rolled into one.

Yae Miko
Role: Sub DPS
Weapon: Catalyst
As a catalyst-user, Miko weaves Sesshou Sakura around the battlefield that periodically deals AoE Electro damage, but when she uses her burst, these turrets transform into fast-firing thunderbolts. As with Eula, it’s a really fun synergy between skill and burst that grants her a very particular playstyle, and though it can be tricky to place her Sakura correctly when they all hit, it’s a lot of damage. Her only drawback is that all of this costs a lot of energy.
But taking into the fact that Miko has one of the fastest elemental cooldown times in the game and her own Elemental Skill can be used to dodge enemy attacks. She’s got great survivability and damage potential.
Cyno

Role: Main DPS
Weapon: Polearm
Cyno’s can deal massive critical strikes and is fairly easy to play. If you end up rolling him and you don’t have Raiden Shogun it should be just fine. His Elemental Burst deals constant Electro damage and applies auras on all affected enemies. Unfortunately, his Elemental Skill isn’t as good, and he really needs a supporter on his side.
Keqing
Role: Main DPS
Weapon: Sword
Keqing is a strong damage dealer with a unique playstyle, as she hurls lightning stilettos at foes and zaps around the battlefield. Just like Miko, this Electro character is famous for short cooldown times. The best part about Keqing is her Elemental Skill, which allows her to teleport and hit the enemy’s weak spots. Although her Charged Attack is very fast, it’s similarly expensive.
Her main strengths are the Electro infusion she gains from her Stellar Restoration skill, her fast attacks which work well for a crit build, and the general mobility that stems from her combos, making it hard for most groups of enemies to hit her.
