The INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022, was hosted over the weekend and here are the indie games that managed to snag some prizes. The INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022 is the sixth entry in the biannual live digital showcase connecting indie game fans all over the world with more than 57.5 million total views.
Game Of The Year & Best Short Game Award: Unpacking (Witch Beam, Humble Games)
Unpacking is a game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. Part block-fitting puzzle, part home decoration, you are invited to create a satisfying living space while learning clues about the life you’re unpacking. Over the course of eight house moves, you are given a chance to experience a sense of intimacy with a character you never see and a story you’re never told.

Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set amidst the detailed, neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by curious droids and dangerous creatures.

Most Addictive Game Award: Vampire Survivors (poncle)
