No Place Like Home – All Livestock And Wild Animals Guide

Wild Animals

Wild animals are animals that are scatted throughout No Place Like Home. They are not hostile and can’t be interacted with until befriended by doing their respective questlines. Once the quests are completed and their homes repaired, they can be befriended and give various seeds to the player every day.

Boar

Location: Frozen Peaks
Housing: Boar Lair
Tame: Beet
Produce: Truffle

Boar are found in the Frozen Peaks. In order to tame them, you need to fix their lair through the Boar Lair questline starting with Forced Winter Sleep. After the lair is fixed, it costs 1 Beet to tame a boar. There are 4 boar total, and once you have tamed them all you can visit them at their lair and collect 1 Truffle per boar per day.

Deer

Location: Lonely Hills
Housing: Woodlet
Tame: Acorn
Produce: Pepper or Blueberry Seeds

Deer are found in Lonely Hills. In order to tame them, you need to fix their Woodlet through the quest The Woodlet. After the woodlet is fixed, it costs 1 Acorn to tame a deer. There are 10 deer total, and once you have tamed them all you can visit them at their woodlet and collect various amounts of Pepper seeds or Blueberry seeds.

Fennec Foxes

Location: The Desert
Housing: Desert: Oasis
Tame: Watermelon
Produce: 2x Watermelon Seeds

Fennec Foxes are in The Desert and their habitat is just past Janet in the area the Desert: Oasis. They require 1 watermelon to befriend and can only be befriended after starting the quest The Desert Foxes. You must complete the quest and one day must pass, then the foxes will give 2 watermelon seeds daily.

Foxes

Location: Village
Housing: Den
Tame: Strawberry
Produce: 3x Strawberry Seeds

Foxes are found in the Village. In order to tame them, you need to fix up their Den through the quest Fox Fest. It takes 10 Old Wood and 15 Rubble to fix it up. After the den is fixed, it costs 1 Strawberry to tame a fox. There are 5 foxes total, and once you have tamed them all you can visit them at their den and collect 3 Strawberry Seeds per fox per day.
