My Time At Sandrock is the wonderful slice of life RPG sequel to My Time at Portia and its Early Access is coming out next week on May 26th 2022. Considering how much time I’ve clocked into My Time At Portia it’s an understatement to say that I’m excited for this one to come out. And as such, I’ll be coming out with some fun guides for the game.
My Time At Sandrock has Early Access on Steam and Epic Games. (Unfortunately for console players, you’ll need to wait until 2023 for its release). And just like any Early Access version of any game, Pathea will continue to add regular updates from new features, missions, character dialogue etc. So expect this guide to be changing over time.
If you’ve played My Time At Portia, you can expect the same wonderful life sim mechanics that were in the original game but with some added upgrades. Be sure to check out all the changes to the game here.
One of the things that hasn’t changed however is being able to befriend and romance some of the eligible bachelors and bachelorettes in the game. As always this is such a fun aspect of the game and in this guide, we’ll be going through all 7 of My Time At Sandrock‘s eligible bachelors!

Owen

Owen is a local Sandrocker who likes long walks through the desert and the cool taste of Yakmel milk after a hard day of working at his saloon, the Blue Moon. When he’s not on the clock, you can often find him on stage, reciting stories about the Old World in riveting detail to his friends and patrons.
Practically famous in Sandrock, Owen is known to always be there when a helping hand is needed and has been known as one of the most helpful Sandrockers.
Owen also identifies himself as a music fan who loves to have live performances at his saloon.

Dr. Qi is a Sandrock resident and local researcher, he is strongly dedicated to his occupation. He’s not keen on private conversations, instead primarily interested in things pertaining to his work.
Qi is an accomplished scientist from Vega 5. He has always focused on research and as such, his social skills can be found lacking. He likes to drink tea as a pick-me-up, although sometimes he will forego sustenance for long periods of time to finish his projects.

Justice is the sheriff and leading member of the My Time At Sandrock‘s Civil Corps. As the head of the Civil Corps, Justice claims to be the most righteous man in Sandrock, strong and energetic. Justice is always responsible for patrolling around, enthusiastically providing help to the people as he can.
(Fun fact: Justice is inspired by Q, Pathea’s brand and marketing manager.)
Word is there’s a new sheriff in town, they call him “Justice.” No, that’s not a nickname, his name is actually “Justice.” Bit on the nose if you ask me, but rumor has it he once defeated 12 mutants with one ricocheted bullet, so I just called him whatever he asked me to.

Arvio and his sister Amirah came from Barnarock to Sandrock where they both opened their own shops. Arvio is charming and clever. He is very good at selling his goods to customers and is always trying to make his store more attractive. He owns the general store By The Stairs on Main Street, across from Sandrock City Hall.
As I recall, there was a legendary brother and sister duo starting up some kind of trade post out there. Some say they wrote the book on economics. Others say that’s completely untrue. Nevertheless, their ceramics are top notch.

The Fang and X Clinic is a shop located at the top right corner in My Time At Sandrock and above High Noon Arena. The shop sells health and buff related consumables. As well as Acupuncture that will reset your knowledge points.
You won’t be able to woo this mysterious young doctor until you’ve completed the Taste of Your Own Medicine quest. Only after completing the missions can you begin to accumulate relationship points with Fang.
Doctor Fang and his bird, X, are the most mysterious citizens of Sandrock. They live on the edge of town and run a clinic. Although the medicines he sells are uncommon and non-traditional, the effects tend to be surprisingly good.

Fang is unique compared to My Time at Sandrock‘s other NPCs. Most of his loved items are ones that other characters hate, and he’ll also refuse most other items.

Ernest is a late addition to My Time At Sandrock and was announced by developer Pathea Games when they reached 400,000 wishlists on Steam. He joins together with Jane who we’ll cover in our bachelorette guide.
Ernest, a handsome blonde bachelor intrigued by the story of the bandit Logan. He is originally from Ataraq where he worked as a writer. He eventually moved to Sandrock to learn more about Logan’s story.
