Strange Horticulture is an occult puzzle game about plants. You’re the town of Undermere’s newest horticulturist that’s here to help its residents with your botany prowess. Use your collection of powerful plants to influence the strange going ons in town. Whether it’s to save the Sisterhood, facilitate a cult ritual or simply make a bad man’s rash worse. It’s all up to you to decide in Strange Horticulture.
Based on your decisions the game can run into a few different endings. There are 8 altogether, or to be more specific there are 4 paths with 2 different endings each. Such as the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ ending of the Ritual scenario and so forth. You’ll be able to reload your last saved day after you finish your run so you’ll be able to experience all these scenarios.
If you’re ready to create mayhem or save the world, check out all the endings in Strange Horticulture.
– – SPOILER WARNING – –
Ending I – Banished (Bad Ending)
Plants Needed: Devil’s Nighttrap, Swiftsnare, Widow’s Woe, Long Verecund, Elderphinium.

Day 16 is Ritual day. Throughout the game one of your customers, Verona Green has discovered that a Ritual summoning had been cast. A huge skulking beast was summoned known as the Servant. It was summoned by Thea Ward, the woman in the Jade Mask who was Reuben Ward’s daughter. Now’s your chance to banish it.
Day 15: Give Jade Mask some Widow’s Woe instead of Dead Man’s Fingers when she comes.
Day 16: Ring the bell for Verona and bring all 5 of the ritual plants and place them at the alter in N9.

Ending: You manage to banish the Servant but at a great cost. Jade Mask was unable to control the Servant and Reuben Ward in an act of fatherly piety tried to protect her. Both end up dead but Undermere is saved from this dark fate.
Ending II – Banished (Good Ending)
Plants Needed: Devil’s Nighttrap, Swiftsnare, Widow’s Woe, Long Verecund, Elderphinium, Dead Man’s Fingers.

Day 15: The second ‘Banished’ ending has you saving everyone with one change of the plant. Continue the game as above but on Day 15, give Jade Mask some Dead Man’s Fingers instead of Widow’s Woe when she comes. The Dead Man’s Fingers will strengthen her mind.
Day 16: Continue over to the Ritual site once you’ve rung the bell for Verona, on N9 and place the 5 ritual plants.

Ending: You manage to banish the Servant and Reuben Ward stays alive this time. While Thea, the Jade Mask goes into hiding. (But at least she’s not dead!)
Ending III – A Bloody Mess (Bad Ending)
Plants Needed: Candlewood, Lisle of Neptune, Widow’s Woe
Elixir of Control Recipe: Solomon’s Sceptre, Witch Phygg, Farmer’s Worry

Faye Swift comes to your shop Strange Horticulture early on in the game. If you help her she’ll find a connection between her and the Dendrew. She wants to wrest control of it from Jade Mask. Just so happens you have the means to do that, but will you help her?
Day 4: Faye Swift is experiencing visions, help her by giving her Aguria to ease her visions or Candlewood to encourage them. For this playthrough give her Candlewood.
Day 13: Simone has a mould problem in her library and needs some Palliance to deal with it. But you’re a bit suspicious that she knows something more so give her the Lisle of Neptune to get her talking. She’ll give you the recipe for the Elixir of Control.
Day 15: Make the takeover a success by giving Jade Mask Widow’s Woe to weaken her. Then craft The Elixir of Control.
Day 16: Head to The Daughter’s Stone Circle at A25. This time give the Elixir of Control to Faye.

Ending: Faye even after taking the Elixir is unable to overpower Jade Mask and will die in the process. A terrible ending. Or is it?
Ending IV – A Bloody Mess (Worse Ending)
Plants Needed: Candlewood, Lisle of Neptune, Dead Man’s Fingers
Elixir of Control Recipe: Solomon’s Sceptre, Witch Phygg, Farmer’s Worry

Day 4: That was a terrible playthrough before so let’s try again. Continue to give Faye Swift Candlewood to encourage her visions.
Day 13: Next up, you’re still going to need that Elixir of Control so give Simone Green the Lisle of Neptune to get the recipe.
Day 15: This time to ensure Faye doesn’t succeed give Jade Mask Dead Man’s Fingers. Then craft The Elixir of Control.
Day 16: Head to The Daughter’s Stone Circle at A25. This time give the Elixir of Control to Faye.

Ending: It turns out Faye was not to be trusted with control of the Servant. She overpowers Jade Mask and with the Servant has laid waste to the towns of Sadgill and Kentmere. The town of Undermere lays in wait for its reckoning. The only good thing is that the Jade Mask aka Thea Ward has recovered her sanity and is reunited with her father.

Plants Needed: Candlewood, Lisle of Neptune, Dead Man’s Fingers
Elixir of Control Recipe: Solomon’s Sceptre, Witch Phygg, Farmer’s Worry

Everyone wants a piece of the Servant, even you! Throughout the game, you’ve met with Faye Swift, someone connected with the Dendrew. She dreams of controlling and becoming one with it. With an Elixir of Control she can, and yet there’s something very suspicious about her. Maybe it’s time to take matters into your own hands.
Day 4: Okay so both those playthroughs weren’t good. Let’s try again. Continue to give Faye Swift Candlewood to encourage her visions.
Day 13: Then get the recipe for the Elixir of Control by giving Simone Green the Lisle of Neptune.
Day 15: This time give Jade Mask Dead Man’s Fingers instead of Widow’s Woe. Then craft The Elixir of Control.
Day 16: Head to The Daughter’s Stone Circle at A25. And once again, restrain Faye with some Swiftsnare and drink the Elixir of Control yourself.

Ending: Giving Jade Mask the Dead Man’s Fingers has made her too powerful for you to wrest control of the Servant.
Ending VI – I Am The Dendrew (Good Ending)
Plants Needed: Candlewood, Lisle of Neptune, Widow’s Woe
Elixir of Control Recipe: Solomon’s Sceptre, Witch Phygg, Farmer’s Worry

Day 4: The road to this ending happens as early as Day 4 with Faye Swift. She’s having some disturbing dreams and you can either give her Candlewood to encourage her visions or Aguria to ease them. Give her Candlewood for this playthrough.
Day 13: Give Simone Green the Lisle of Neptune instead of the Palliance that she asked for. The Lisle of Neptune will act as a truth serum and she’ll give you the recipe for the Elixir of Control.
Day 15: Give Jade Mask some Widow’s Woe to weaken her. And craft The Elixir of Control for your big day tomorrow.
Day 16: Head to The Daughter’s Stone Circle at A25. Once there, restrain Faye with some Swiftsnare and drink the Elixir of Control yourself.

Ending: You’ve successfully become Master of the Servant and have taken control of the Dendrew from Jade Mask!
Ending VII – Praise The Dendrew (Bad Ending)
Plants Needed: St. John’s Poppy, Lesser Merrydock, Dead Man’s Fingers
Elixir of Control Recipe: Witch Phygg, Pennybell, Bishop’s Parasol

Whenever there’s a weird Cuthulian god summoning there’s likely to be a group of cult worshipers behind. This time they are called the ‘Seeds of Redemption’ and after discovering the Dendrew seek to free it from Jade Mask’s control.
Day 6: In Strange Horticulture, it was only a matter of time before you were given to join a cult. Say yes to joining the ‘Seeds of Redemption’ by heading over to the church, C28 and placing a St. John’s Poppy.
Day 11: Following your little flower message you’ll get a visit from Ennis Aleford praising your decision to join the cult on Day 8. But it’s only at Day 11 where you get to see any cult action. On this day Ennis will come back asking you to give Forest Vair some Lesser Merrydock the next day.
Day 12: Forest Vair is on his way to hunt the Servant. Stop him by giving him the Lesser Merrydock that Ennis gave you yesterday.
Day 14: The Redemption is at hand. Ennis Aleford returns to give you the recipe for the Dendrew’s Elixir.
Day 15: Give Dead Man’s Fingers instead of Widow’s Woe to Jade Mask. Then craft the Dendrew’s Elixir.
Day 16: Head to the Swinside Stone Circle at L9.

Ending: Jade Mask is too strong for the cult and destroys the offering, killing a cult member with the Dendrew. The Seeds of Redemption disbands after this failed offering and you are shunned by the people of Undermere. You’re left lying in wait for when the Dendrew will eventually return.
Ending VIII – Praise The Dendrew (Good? Ending)
Plants Needed: St. John’s Poppy, Lesser Merrydock, Widow’s Woe
Elixir of Control Recipe: Witch Phygg, Pennybell, Bishop’s Parasol

Day 6: Continue joining the ‘Seeds of Redemption’ cult by heading over to the church, C28 and placing a St. John’s Poppy.
Day 11: Ennis will come back once again asking you to give Forest Vair some Lesser Merrydock the next day.
Day 12: Protect the Dendrew and Forest Vair the Lesser Merrydock. You’ll then get the recipe for the Dendrew’s Elixir.
Day 14: Ennis Aleford returns to give you the recipe for the Dendrew’s Elixir. If you don’t give Vair the Lesser Merrydock he’ll come and threaten you instead.
Day 15: You know the drill by now, give Jade Mask Widow’s Woe to weaken her. Then craft the Dendrew’s Elixir.
Day 16: Head to the Swinside Stone Circle at L9.

Ending: Praise the Dendrew! It accepts your offering of the Dendrew Elixir and is now free from Jade Mask’s grasp. After drinking the Elixir it promptly turns around and slashes her in two, killing her. Unfortunately, the Dendrew isn’t the grateful kind and promptly murders the cult as well. They die, but you survive. Ready to take on your next role as cult leader.
Praise the Dendrew. That’s all the endings from Strange Horticulture.
