PlayStation Showcase 2021 – All The News And Trailers

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection – Uncharted Remasters

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will include all the previous Uncharted games from 1,2,3 and 4. It also includes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know what kinds of extra features will be part of this bundle. But as for general improvements, we don’t think it’s much of a stretch to say the games will be bumped up to 4k resolution at 60fps.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available in early 2022 for the PlayStation 5. The PC version is in development by Iron Galaxy and will release shortly after the PS5 version.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Teased back at E3 2019 and now at the PlayStation Showcase 2021. Step into Tango Softworks’ vision of Tokyo, an ultra-modern cityscape of skyscrapers, traditional shrines, narrow alleyways, massive crossings and neon-lit shops – now teeming with spirits and supernatural happenings. Ghostwire: Tokyo is set in the titular Tokyo. One day a mysterious fog descends, causing nearly all the city’s population to vanish.

An enigmatic masked group known as Hannya takes responsibility, you’re left with nothing but questions and waves of supernatural Visitors to contend with. These Visitors are no mere apparitions. You’ll need to master Ethereal Weaving – a powerful art that attunes the elements with spiritual energy – alongside other equipment and ghost-hunting skills to face such a threat. Wielding the power of wind, water and fire, you’ll combine abilities to tackle a variety of supernatural foes.

Ghostwire: Tokyo arrives on PlayStation 5 in 2022.

Originally referred to as Project Athia the game by Luminous Productions as a name, it’s – Forspoken.

Forspoken is an original action RPG where we play as Frey Holland, a fairly ordinary young woman who must harness her magical powers to survive a “thrilling, otherworldly adventure”.

We’re learning more about the game from this PlayStation Showcase 2021, Forspoken is a dark Narnia story. Frey is a directionless, gritty yet street smart young woman who has persevered despite her rough upbringing in New York City. And her life hasn’t really gotten any easier now that she’s about to turn 21. Things take a turn for the unexpected when she’s magically transported to Athia, a land where fantasies and nightmares are suddenly very real.

Playing as Frey, you’ll need to harness newly discovered magical abilities to battle the terrifying monsters that inhabit the land. To have a chance of returning home, she’ll also have to contend with the Tantas — destructive and twisted all-powerful matriarchs who have dominion over Athia.

Forspoken is expected to release on PlayStation 5 in Spring 2022.

Project Eve

Project Eve is a bit of a mysterious game for Sony and we’re excited to see more of it at this year’s PlayStation Showcase 2021.

In the not-too-distant future, mankind is expelled from Earth after losing the battle against the invaders called the NA:tives. To win back Earth, the player becomes Eve, the survivor of the paratrooper squad deployed from the Colony, who must fight through powerful enemies with new comrades. Join Eve’s adventure in the face of unknown creatures on a desolate, destroyed Earth.

As you accompany Eve throughout the game, you get one step closer to the secret hidden in this unusual world. Combat in Eve is deliberate – including attack, defence, and evasion – while remaining fluid and zestful. The only way to survive is to grasp the attack patterns of various enemies and counter them with precise timing.

Project Eve as of yet does not have an announcement date.
