Valheim the very excellent Viking survival game that’s out on Early Access Steam. Even though the game is still in development there’s still a lot for you to see and do. There’s plenty of things to upgrade, craft and of course survive with, in the Nordic wilderness. You got to keep yourself safe and as we’ve already talked about all the best weapons you can get in Valheim, we’re now going to talk about armour.

The best offence is a good defence some would say, and in Valheim your armour is literally going to stand between you and death. Armour is broken down into four different pieces you can wear at the same time: leg, chest, helmet and cape. You’re able to craft the whole set or just pick the pieces of armour that suit you the best.

Padded Armor Set

Padded Armor is the ultimate end-game armour in Valheim. It’s the seventh tier of armour and is a direct upgrade from Wolf Armor.

This set will offer you the highest possible protection from damage, offering significantly more armour than the Wolf set. As with the Bronze and Iron sets, the Padded Armor Set lacks a cape, so you’ll want to keep the Wolf Fur Cape or Linen Cape equipped for the best possible Armor in Valheim.
