Halloween has come to Call of Duty: Warzone in their seasonal spooky event entitled ‘The Haunting of Verdansk’. This year Verdansk is decked out with all-new Halloween decorations and players will have a chance to obtain special collectables, Rare, Epic, and Legendary items… Or in some cases, a terrifying fright. Complete them all and you’ll be rewarded with a legendary assault rifle. The event is running from now until November 3rd, so be sure to accomplish as many Halloween challenges as you can before time runs out.

For the first time, Call of Duty: Warzone is featuring a special scavenger hunt event around Verdansk. Where players can find Trick or Treat supply loot boxes scattered around 16 different locations. These special caches have a chance at awarding the operator who opened it a permanent item unique to each area. This all happens during an active match, so needless to say, this is the one time where fighting over Trick or Treating is perfectly acceptable. Inside will either be Halloween themed gear and cosmetic treats or a jump-scare trick that will leave players screaming into their mics.

This event isn’t just limited to nighttime infiltrations or standard Battle Royale. Feel free to drop into some Zombie Royale for a change of pace Battle Royale option, or play some Plunder, which offers a more generous respawn mechanic compared to any other mode. ‘The Haunting Of Verdansk’ Box Locations & Rewards

Though there is a bit of variation in where the Trick or Treat supply create can actually appear, they commonly pop up in the following 16 locations across Verdansk. Each box can contain either a permanent reward or a jump scare, so you may have to visit certain locations multiple times to get your rewards.

If you want to find the boxes, your best bet is to immediately drop into one of these sixteen locations by yourself or with your squad and start looking for it immediately. For those with detailed knowledge of the map, finding these special supply boxes shouldn’t be too hard. It’s certainly much more simple than finding the secret station!

The first 15 boxes should be fairly easy to find because they’re in static locations, but the crate on the train can be difficult to pin down as the train constantly moves from station to station around Verdansk.

 

The Pumpkin Punisher – Legendary Assault Rifle

If you manage to find all 16 of these while ‘The Haunting of Verdansk’ is active, you will get the Pumpkin Punisher Legendary Assult Rifle. The Pumpkin Punisher blueprint is a modified Grau 5.56 assault rifle coated in orange paint with a dastardly white smile carved into its side. The weapon comes equipped with the FSS 20.8″ Barrel, a Commando Foregrip, a Tac Laser, a PBX Holo 7 Sight, and an FSS Blackjack Stock. The Grau 5.56 is still a dominant weapon in the Warzone meta even after being nerfed, so players who go to the trouble of collecting all 16 Trick or Treat supply boxes will be rewarded with a weapon that’s well worth using.
