Level Up KL 2018 has come to a close and so too has the SEA Game Awards. It was an amazing conference and the games on display were superb, it just gets better every year. This year the winners of the awards were chosen by members of the media from around Southeast Asia from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and The Philippines. Coffee Talk is a game about listening to people’s problems and help them by serving a warm drink out of the ingredients you have. It is a game that tries to depict our lives as humanly as possible while having a cast that is more than just humans. The game was inspired by the calm feelings of drinking warm drinks in the middle of a cold rainy night, alone or accompanied by friends. The game features visual aesthetics that are inspired by 90s anime, classic pixel art adventure games, and the chill imageries often associated with lo-fi chill-hop music.

Outwit the enemies by fighting with light and stay one step ahead of the plant infested robots that used to man the space station. The game revolves around immersion and thick atmospheric tension through the use of environment pieces to create an authentic realistic experience.
Audience Choice Award
ITENO by Why Creative (Malaysia)
Iteno is a maths-based casual puzzle game by indie game developer Why Creative. The idea for Iteno came from Sudoku and the lesser known Kakuro, a logic puzzle that is often referred to as the mathematical equivalent of a crossword puzzle. The game is set to launch on the Google Play and Apple Store as of now though we’re not sure when.
Grand Jury Award
No Straight Roads by Metronomik (Malaysia)
A battle of the music genres you play as two rockers battling against the looming electronic dance music empire. No Straight Roads is a rhythm action game directed by Wan Hazmer former lead game designer for Final Fantasy XV.
No Straight Roads is expected to launch sometime mid 2019.
