Unravel came out of nowhere in 2016 and captured our hearts with the adorable little Yarny. Reminiscent of a childhood toy, the game is beautiful with no spoken words or narration, instead it allows the gorgeous Celtic inspired music to accompany you as you toss about Yarny‘s lasso to help you climb rocks and get down from trees. At this year’s E3 Unravel 2 was announced and now is your chance to check out the game for free.
In Unravel 2 there are now to Yarnys, meaning that you can play this puzzle platformer co-op. If you haven’t played Unravel before or you’re hesitant to get it then you’re in luck as EA is now offering the first 10 hours for free for Unravel until the 30th of July.
The first 10 hours should get you through two chapters of the game’s beautiful story. The full version of the side-scrolling puzzle platformer actually only includes six levels, so you’re basically getting a third of the game for free. The saved progress will carry over to the full game should you decide to pick it up.
The trail will be available across all of the game’s platforms on the Xbox, PS4 and PC.
