I don’t think it’s going to come as any surprise what the DICE Game of the Year is going to be. But apart from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild there a couple more Nintendo titles that managed to grab their own awards. Including my personal favourite game from last year Horizon Zero Dawn as well as PUBG, Cuphead and more.
Rounding out the awards ceremony, Nintendo’s Genyo Takeda received a lifetime achievement award for his work creating Punch-Out!! and designing the Nintendo 64, GameCube, and Wii hardware. At the end of the night, Nintendo took home a whopping 12 awards, or pretty much half of all the awards.
