Boo! Halloween has come to Overwatch. The limited-time event features a brand-new, four-player co-op mode, Junkenstein’s Revenge. As well as a host of new character skins, emotes, victory poses, sprays and more.
But what if Halloween just isn’t your thing? Based on Blizzard Entertainment’s patch notes for the encompassing Halloween update, there’s still plenty worth celebrating for the more stoic player. Overwatch’s competitive mode receives a fix that should please those with poor connections. Leaving a match, whether by choice or otherwise, will no longer prevent you from re-entering it while it’s ongoing. Anyone can rejoin at any point, although a disconnected player’s teammates who leave two minutes in will record a loss for doing so.
For a look at the new epic and legendary skins that players can earn in Overwatch Halloween Terror. You’ll find new skins for Ana, Bastion, Hanzo, Junkrat, Mercy, Pharah, Reaper, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Soldier: 76, Symmetra and Zenyatta.
Unlike Blizzard’s previous season event, Summer Games, Overwatch players will be able to purchase the following costumes with credits through Nov. 1. Many aren’t cheap, however. The more coveted skins, like Witch Mercy and pumpkin-headed Reaper, run 3,000 credits each.
Hanzo – Demon
Junkrat – Dr. Junkenstein
Ana – Ghoul
Roadhog – Junkenstein’s Monster
Zenyatta – Skullyatta
Symmetra – Vampire
Mercy – Witch
Soldier: 76 –
Pharah – Possessed
Bastion – Tombstone
