Horizon Zero Dawn has a brand new trailer for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Sony and Guerrilla Games are showing off plenty of combat and story elements.
Horizon Zero Dawn has been in quite the spotlight for a game that’s not scheduled to arrive until next year. Fresh off the PlayStation Meeting in New York City, Sony has released another brand new trailer for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Showing off more gameplay footage and additional story elements.
This new trailer shows off more footage of the lead up to the post-apocalypse. With an impressive city complete with skyscrapers and bright lights going dark from some sort of power failure. From there, the once lit streets and buildings are reclaimed by nature. Giving way to a landscape closer to what players are more familiar with from the previous demos.
Combat is also heavily featured as Aloy, the game’s main protagonist, squares off against both human and machine enemies. Aloy the trailer focuses on more human enemies this time around. Showcasing a number of mysterious figures wearing cloaks and tribal looking masks. Making life even more difficult for the main character. Based on the footage, it appears players will also be able to go up against larger robot creatures.
Considering the trailer is primed for Tokyo Game Show, the footage is entirely in Japanese. Meaning many fans won’t have a clear picture as to what is going on. Fans will still want to check it out, as new gameplay shows off some interesting story elements and gorgeous visuals.
