Xenoblade Chronicles X By Monolith Soft

Xenoblade Chronicles X is going to be the next big JRPG of the year (in the absence of Final Fantasy). A spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles, the game will be a Wii U exclusive by Monolith Soft.

Earth has been caught in the crossfire of a war between two alien species, and humanity’s been forced to vacate Earth, Battlestar Galactica-style. The surviving humans escape and crash-landed on Mira, a beautiful but hostile environment, where humanity aims to survive. Your journey begins when you awake from your stasis pod with little to no memory and discover that the aliens that destroyed your home have followed you.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is a large open world game and by large I do mean massive. The map is reported to be “bigger than the maps of Skyrim, The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 combined”. Offering hundreds of hours of gorgeous cinematic gameplay for its USD$60 price tag.

Explore the gorgeous, visually stunning world of Mira but unlike Fallout or Witcher, the beauty of Mira is that it is a land harsh and untamed. Make your way through the highest mountaintops and the deepest depths in this massive world, as you focus on humanity’s perilous search for survival.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is being released in North America and Europe on the Wii U on December 4th 2015.
