World of Warcraft Legion Expansion for Summer 2016

Legion, the next expansion for World of Warcraft, will arrive “on or before September 21st 2016”, reports Battle.net. Blizzard announced the release window today during the BlizzCon 2015 opening ceremony. More of the lore on the conflict with the Legion was fleshed out in a new trailer, which also confirmed the return of a fan-favourite character. As the title implies will see the return of The Burning Legion, which is not at all happy about going 0-for-2 in its previous invasions of Azeroth.

The expansion will add a host of new content including a new continent titled The Broken Isles, new customisable artifact weapons, and new dungeons and raids. Legion will raise the level cap to 110 and introduce a new class called the Demon Hunter. The expansion will also revamp the player-versus-player progression system.

Legion is currently available for pre-order. Those who pre-order the expansion will receive early access to the Demon Hunter class. The pre-order also immediately grants one character boost to level 100. The beta for World of Warcraft: Legion starts this year. Players can sign up to participate on the Battle.net website.
