Level Up KL is SEA’s Premiere Gaming Convention


Level Up KL 2015 is being held as the premiere regional convention for the Gaming Community in Southeast Asia. Held on the 18th and 19th of November 2015 at the Double Tree Hilton, Kuala Lumpur the event will feature seminars about the current and upcoming trends of gaming.

Level Up is offering something for everyone – from Developers and Publishers to Gamers themselves.

Organised in conjunction with the annual ASEAN Entrepreneurship Summit 2015 (1AES 2015), from the 18th to the 19th November 2015 at Double Tree Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The conference will usher in a new era of videogame development for Malaysia and empower the local game developers and the Malaysian game development market space.

Game studios that have signed up to share their views and contribute to the ever-evolving discussion include Blizzard Entertainment, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Square Enix, Unity, and a bunch of indie developers from around the European and Asian regions.

Level Up KL 2015 will be a knowledge-sharing platform, packed with keynotes and business/technical panel sessions. The event will also feature a games festival event; business matching opportunities; a GameFounders Demo Day, which will see game start-ups pitch to a team of investors; and a massive gaming exhibition that will sport Malaysian and foreign videogame companies showing off their current and latest gaming content.

For videogame developers, the big ticket draw would be the PWRUP KL Game Jam, the first ever ASEAN-level ‘game hackathon’. Content startups, digital publishers and game developers of all levels are encouraged to sign up to conceptualise, plan, and create, non-stop for 48-hours, ASEAN’s next great videogames.
